It is with deep regret that we inform you of the death of Volunteer Assistant Chief David Nall, 40, of the Jay, Florida Volunteer Fire Department, which occurred on Thursday, August 26th, 1999.

While tending to an injured high school footbal player, he began to experience chest pains. He was rushed to the hospital in his department's squad truck, where he suffered a fatal heart attack shortly after arrival.

The 4-year veteran is survived by his wife and three children.
