Fire-Police Officer Dies from Injuries E-Mail Minder

Walter Vaughan, 80, Struck by Car at Fire Scene

Fire Police Officer Walter Vaughan, of the Warminster Fire Department, Warminster, PA and life member of Enterprise Fire Company of Hatboro, PA succumbed to injuries sustained while performing his duties at a room and contents fire in an apartment in Warminster Township, PA.

Fire Police Officer (FPO) Vaughan was on scene of the incident above and was struck by a vehicle on Friday, October 29, 1999.

Vaughan, 80, succumbed to his injuries on the November 13, 1999.

He had over 42 years of service in the fire service, holding numerous positions including past Fire Police Captain at Enterprise Fire Company in Hatboro, PA.

He was buried with full honors and BOX 92-36 was retired in his honor.
