A 37-year-old firefighter and father of five died Friday after collapsing while on duty
in Deptford Township, N.J.
Ralph Jones was on duty at the New Sharon fire station. The 14-year veteran was the President of the Gloucester County Uniformed Career Firefighters, IAFF Local 3592,
officials said.
Jones is survived by his wife and five children,
ages 20 months to 10 years, two brothers and a sister.
A fire department funeral will be held Wednesday at 10:30 a.m., St Patrick's Catholic Church, Woodbury, New Jersey. Calling hours will be Tuesday, 6:30 - 9:00 p.m., and Wednesday, 9:00 - 10:00 a.m., at the McGuinness Funeral Home, 34 Hunter St, Woodbury.

In light of the family's circumstances, donations are requested in lieu of
flowers. Contributions may be made payable to the "Jones Family Relief
