A 26-year-old emergency medical technician with American Medical Response in Newton, Massachusetts
was killed Thanksgiving morning when his ambulance overturned responding to a cardiac arrest call.
Josh Hanson, who the Associated Press reported was covering a co-worker's shift so she could
spend Thanksgiving with her son, died when a car hit the rear of his ambulance, causing it to spin and roll over.
The other EMT in the unit suffered only minor injuries.
Funeral Services for Joshua Paul Hanson, 26, of Plainville, MA will be held
in Our Lady of Victory Church, 230 So. Main Street, Centerville, MA, on
Monday, November 26 at 11:00 AM. Visting Hours in the John-Lawrence Funeral
Home, 3778 Falmouth Road, (Route 28), Marstons Mills, MA on Sunday, from 2:00
to 8:00 PM.
