Passaic, NJ Firefighter Al Tirado, who served more than eight years in his
fire department, lost his life while trying to save others.
The Passaic Fire Department has set up a fund for donations to the
firefighter's family. People can send donations to the Evelyn Tirado FMBA
Assistance Fund at:

Tirado's wake will take place from 2-4 p.m. on Saturday, May 12
and and 7-9 p.m. on Sunday, May 13 at the Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home at 1337 Van Houten Ave.
in Clifton, NJ. The family requests that firefighters only show up for the viewing on Sunday
evening.
The funeral will be on Monday, May 14 at St. Nicholas Catholic Church at 153
Washington Place in Passiac. The fire department requests that NO fire
apparatus be involved Monday.
Rooms are available for out of town firefighters at the Ramada Inn on Route
3 West in Clifton, NJ and at the Howard Johnsons on Route 3 East in Clifton,
NJ.
