Did Bee Sting Contribute to Death of New York Firefighter?

WIVB News 4 - Buffalo, NY

Wheatfield, NY, August 23, 2001) - - The Niagara County Coroner said a bee sting may have contributed to the sudden death of volunteer firefighter Ronald Kreamer on August 13th.

The 34-year old volunteer suffered the sting while cleaning up after a fire at a Sawyer Road apartment complex in Wheatfield.

He died a short time later at Mt. St. Mary's Hospital in Lewiston.

Niagara County Coroner Steven Gerhardt is waiting for toxicology test results to help him determine the exact cause of death.

Gerhardt says Ronald Kreamer had no history of bee sting allergies.
