A memorial service for all four fallen firefighters of last week's
Thirty-Mile Fire will be held at the Yakima, WA Sun Dome
Tuesday, July 24, at 2:00 p.m.
The event will begin with a large procession leading up to the dome,
followed by a service that will last about an hour, said Forest
Service spokeswoman Patty Burel.

Firefighters are expected to pour in from around the country and from
all types of agencies, including rural, city, county, state and
federal, Burel said.
Firefighters are asked to attend in uniform, and to wear dress
uniform if possible.
Burel said she has been getting calls from firefighters as far away
as Florida and Texas.
"We welcome their involvement and their attendance," she said.
A fund has been established in the names of all four firefighters.
