Dennis 'Denny' Dart, 62, a founding member of the Sugar Camp, Wisconsin
Volunteer Fire Department, died after suffering a heart attack while at the
scene of a vehicle fire Nov. 2.
Dart had worked for the Rheinlander Telephone Company for 44 years. "He was
a local volunteer in everything," according to Barry Wallis of the Carlson
Funeral Home. He was on the town board for 20 years and past president of
the Lions Club. In 1993 he was named the Sugar Camp Community Volunteer of
the Year.
Dart is survived by his wife Carol, sons Michael and Thomas, and daughter
Patty.

Professional Firefighters of Wisconsin Honor Guard are assisting the Funeral
Home and family with arrangements and will be providing the Honor Guard.
Sugar Camp VFD is in northern Wisconsin. The department has 25 members.
