IAFF, FDNY Announce Memorial Service Date
(July 23) -- Officials have announced that the Bravest lost at the World Trade Center, and seven other FDNY heroes lost in 2001, will be remembered at Madison Square Garden Ceremony on Saturday, October 12.

Fallen Firefighters Memorial Weekend Schedule Announced
(July 19) -- Three days of events in the Nation's Capital to honor the 438 firefighters from 34 states made the ultimate sacrifice in 2001.

Registration Deadline for D.C. Honor Procession Slated
(July 19) -- August 26 is the registration deadline for fire departments interested in participating in the Procession of Honor immediately prior to the National Fallen Firefighters Memorial Service on Sunday, October 6.

IAFF Annual Memorial Service Set for Sept. 21
(May 22) -- IAFF members from across the U.S. and Canada will gather Sept. 21 at the IAFF’s memorial in the shadow of Pike’s Peak to offer a solemn tribute to the Union’s fallen brothers and sisters

FDNY Memorial Service for the Fallen Bravest

When: October 12, 2002
Where: New York City, NY

Presented by the FDNY, IAFF, UFA, & UFOA, the Madison Square Garden event will honor the members of the FDNY who perished in the tragic September 11 attack at the World Trade Center, as well as seven other FDNY members killed in the line-of-duty since the last service was held in October 2000.

National Fallen Firefighters Memorial Weekend

When: October 5-6, 2002
Where: Washington, D.C.

Presented by the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation, this annual memorial service has been moved to the nation's capital this year to honor 438 firefighters from 34 states made the ultimate sacrifice, including the 344 dedicated firefighters who died in the World Trade Center disaster.

IAFF Annual Memorial Service

When: September 21, 2002
Where: Colorado Springs, CO

The 16th annual IAFF Fallen Fire Fighter Memorial Ceremony, is expected to be the largest in the memorial’s history. honoring IAFF members who were killed in the line of duty between June 2001 and June 2002.
