US Airways Offers Special Sale Fares
Washington, DC or Baltimore Travel for Tickets Purchased by Monday, September 30, 2002

US Airways, in cooperation with the Arlington, Va. Convention and Visitors Service, is offering extended weekend fares and hotel packages for travel between Washington, DC and cities throughout the US. These sale fares are also available to or from Baltimore-Washington International Airport.

  • Tickets must be purchased online at least 7 days in advance of travel and no later than September 30, 2002
  • All travel must be completed by November 12, 2002
  • Travel is valid to or from Washington, DC or Baltimore departing Thursdays through Saturdays and returning Sundays through Tuesdays

Fares are based on required roundtrip coach travel. Depending upon travel needs, alternative routings may be available at the same fares, with part of the service on regional aircraft operated by US Airways Express carriers Allegheny Airlines, Air Midwest, CCAIR, Chautauqua Airlines, Colgan Air, Mesa, Piedmont Airlines, PSA, Shuttle America or Trans States Airlines.

SALE FARE REQUIREMENTS

  • Restrictions: Fares are based on required roundtrip Coach travel. Fares shown must be purchased at least 7 days in advance of travel, within 24 hours of making reservation and no later than 9/30/02. Minimum Saturday night stay is required. Seats are limited or may be sold out during very busy travel times.
  • Travel: Departing travel is valid Thursdays-Saturdays and returning travel is valid Sundays-Tuesdays. Travel must be completed in the same weekend; a maximum stay of 5 days is allowed. Travel valid to/from Baltimore-Washington International; Reagan Washington National or Washington Dulles Airports only. All travel must be completed by 11/12/02.
  • Taxes/Fees: Fares do not include a $3 federal excise tax which will be imposed on each flight segment of your itinerary. A flight segment is defined as a takeoff and a landing. Fares do not include the September 11th Security Fee of up to $10 per itinerary. Fares do not include up to $18 in airport passenger facility charges where applicable.
  • Changes: Tickets become nonrefundable 24 hours after making initial reservation, and under certain conditions may be changed prior to the departure of each flight segment for a minimum $100 fee. If changes are not made prior to the departure date/time of each flight, the entire remaining ticket will have no further value.
  • Miscellaneous: Lower fares may be available in these markets. Fares may not be available in all Baltimore or Washington, DC markets. Other conditions may apply.
