  This month’s Firehouse® is dedicated to Firefighter Bradley McNeer, 22, of the Chesterfield, VA, Fire Department, who died in the line of duty, December 1999; and to Firefighter Ernest Young, 52, of the Big Knob Volunteer Fire Department in Rochester, PA; Captain Juan Gilbert De Leon, 53, of the McAllen, TX, Fire Department; Chief James Altic, 47, of the Halfway Volunteer Fire Department in Polk County, MO; Firefighter Lee Purdy, 57, of the Invincible Fire Company in Spencerville, OH; and Firefighter Robert M. Jones, 48, of the Unity, ME, Volunteer Fire Department, all of whom died in the line of duty, January 2000.
