On This Month's Cover:

A home under construction for over one year was gutted during an early evening two-alarm fire in Burbank, California on August 13, 1992. The building was fully involved upon arrival of the first firefighters. Several handlines and master streams were needed to knock down the heavy fire and protect all of the nearby exposures.
