September 99 cover

On This Month's Cover:

Upon arrival at this two-story occupied house, firefighters found the first floor well involved. An aggressive interior attack was canceled when, after crews extinguished the fire on the first floor, the second floor flashed over. One firefighter suffered a minor injury during the early-morning two-alarm blaze. The fire, which occurred on March 16, 1999, in the southside section of St. Petersburg, FL, required the response of five engines, two ladders and a squad company.
