Firefighters get off the roof via the aerial ladder of FDNY Ladder 56 at a two-alarm fire that started in a vacant dwelling and spread to two adjacent occupied dwellings. The early-morning fire in the Seventh Division of the Bronx occurred on Dec. 28, 2002. The patriotic colors represent the military service of America's Bravest who were called to war during the recent conflict in the Middle East.
