On the Cover

It took 24 firefighters in Waukesha, WI, about 30 minutes to control a multi-alarm fire in a garage. The building was fully involved upon arrival of the first units. Five departments were called to shuttle water to the scene from a hydrant one mile away. The fire occurred on Feb. 17, 2004.

This month's Firehouse® is dedicated Martin McNamara IV, 31, of the Lancaster VFD, MA, who died in the line of duty, December, 2003 and to Board Member/Driver Richard Allen Jones, 65, of the Maryland Line, MD, Volunteer Fire Protective Association, Captain Keith Alan Firment , 35, of the Marguerite VFC, Latrobe, PA, Firefighter/Paramedic, Charles "Charlie" T. Hatch, 48, of the West Bridgewater, MA, FD, all who died in the line of duty, January, 2004.
