Firefighters from Fort Worth, TX, Engine 2 prepare to make an attack at a fire near the downtown area on July 31, 1999. The company was initially dispatched to a vehicle fire, but found two dwellings and a pickup truck involved upon their arrival and requested assistance. The two-alarm fire in the response area of Battalion Two caused $90,000 in damage to the houses and pickup.

This month's Firehouse® is dedicated to Firefighter Ronald W. Meshell, 30, of the Huttig, AR, Fire Department and to Firefighter Frank Wood, 54, of the Flourtown, PA, Fire Company, who died in the line of duty, August 1999.
