    Texas Firefighter Dies While at Station

    A Val Verde County firefighter died on Aug. 12 while working at a fire station, according to USFA.Lt. Larry G. Nelson, 61, fell from a small step ladder at Station 3 in Del Rio just after noon.The cause of death is still undetermined.Donations can be made in Nelson's name to the Val Verde County Rural Fire Department, PO Box 420836, Del Rio, TX 78842-0836.
