Ind. Firefighter Dies After Falling Ill at Training

A Cedar Lake firefighter died on Aug. 5 after falling ill during technical rescue training last month.

Firefighter/EMT Tim White was hospitalized on July 17 and his condition began to improve, but he suddenly died last Friday, according to the Indiana Fire Chief Association.

The 20-year veteran of the fire department is survived by his wife Kathy, three daughters, and four grandchildren.

Funeral services for White were held earlier this week.
