Fire Rips Through Fla. Apartment Complex

Twelve apartments were damaged late Thursday night when a fire ripped through a Winter Park complex.

The fire broke out around 10 p.m. at the Sutton Place apartments on University Boulevard near Full Sail University and a Target store.

Flames ripped through the third-story apartments, and it took more than 50 firefighters more than an hour to extinguish the blaze. Apartment employees said six of the 12 apartments were destroyed in the blaze.

No one was injured in the fire.

The cause of the fire is not known.
