A fire truck was involved in a car accident Saturday afternoon in Brighton Heights.

Officials said the crash happened along California Avenue at about 2 p.m.

The driver of a car crashed into the fire truck and the impact sent it crashing into a parked car in a church parking lot, police said.

Anton Williams was inside the church at a meeting, but heard the loud noise from the crash that damaged his car.

There was a fire truck and silver vehicle, Williams said. There was a whole crowd and everything. Cars were stopped on the road and there was a bunch of chaos for a second.

Investigators believe the driver of the car may have ran a red light.

No injuries were reported from the crash.
