Oklahoma Fire Chaplain Gets Slain Chief's Liver

OKLAHOMA CITY -- Slain Nichols Hills Fire Chief Keith Bryan was a hero during his life and is one after his death. A spokeswoman for Integris Baptist Hospital in Oklahoma City confirmed that Bryan's liver had been donated to an Oklahoma City Fire Department chaplain in need. Ted Wilson is expected to remain in intensive care for a couple of days. Bryan was shot during a home invasion on Tuesday night and died Wednesday morning, Mustang police said.

A spokeswoman for Integris Baptist Hospital in Oklahoma City confirmed that Bryan's liver had been donated to an Oklahoma City Fire Department chaplain in need. Ted Wilson is expected to remain in intensive care for a couple of days.

Bryan was shot during a home invasion on Tuesday night and died Wednesday morning, Mustang police said.

He had designated that in the event of his death that his liver be donated to Wilson.
