More than a half-dozen departments battled a four-alarm fire in Onset Thursday night that tore through a building under renovation, according to The Cape Cod Times.

Crews responded shortly after 11 p.m. to the historic Harborview Inn building on South Boulevard to find flames coming from the first and second floors.

Nobody was living in the building and no injuries were reported. Onset Capt. Raymond Goodwin told the newspaper that the fire required a lot of manpower because of the age of the building constructed in the 1920s.

He said that the fire doesn't appear to be suspicious and that the cause is currently under investigation.
