TURTLECREEK TOWNSHIP, Ohio --
A firefighter was injured overnight Friday fighting flames at a home in Turtlecreek Township.
Crews were called to the home on Cold Spring Road just before midnight. Reports indicate when they arrived, flames were showing from the roof of the home.
Fire officials from Turtlecreek Township told News 5 everyone made it out of the home unharmed, but the home was badly damaged. They also said the fire was so intense that nearby homes were damaged.
The injured firefighter, whose name was not released, was taken to an area hospital for treatment, but no additional information was available about his condition.
A damage estimate for the home has not been released.
