MARTIC TOWNSHIP, Pa. --

Three firefighters were hurt Friday in a Lancaster County house fire.

No one was home when neighbors noticed smoke coming out of the attic of the home at Frogtown and Martic roads.

Firefighters got there quickly after getting the call around 7 p.m.

"I think we did a very good job of saving a good part of the structure. Like I said smoke and water damage throughout the facility, the occupants are going to be displaced, but I think they have a good opportunity to fix this up," Assistant Chief Tony Williams said.

Firefighters are not sure how the fire started, but most of the damage is on the second floor.

One firefighter was hurt when he fell. The other two had heat-related problems.
