An eight-alarm blaze tore through a warehouse in Camden early Saturday morning, just one mile from a 12-alarm fire that occurred two days earlier, according to WPVI-TV.

Crews responded to the fire at the Howland Croft and Sons warehouse in the 400 block of Winslow Street around 2:45 a.m., officials told the news station.

Flames were shooting from the four-story building that occupies and entire block of the city.

The blaze quickly spread and fire companies from Camden and Gloucester counties responded.

The Philadelphia Fire Department was also called into assist.

Residents were evacuated from Winslow Street as well as neighboring streets.

Crews were able to bring the fire under control shortly before 6 a.m.
