3-Alarm Fire Consumes Baltimore Apartments

BALTIMORE -- A multiple-alarm fire consumed two vacant apartment buildings Tuesday afternoon in northwest Baltimore. Baltimore City firefighters were called at about 3:45 p.m. Tuesday to the 3000 block of Garrison Boulevard near Grantley Road, where two three-story vacant apartment buildings were fully involved in smoke and fire, according to Baltimore City Fire Department spokesman Kevin Cartwright. SkyTeam 11 reported from over the scene that there were no reports of injuries.

A multiple-alarm fire consumed two vacant apartment buildings Tuesday afternoon in northwest Baltimore.

Baltimore City firefighters were called at about 3:45 p.m. Tuesday to the 3000 block of Garrison Boulevard near Grantley Road, where two three-story vacant apartment buildings were fully involved in smoke and fire, according to Baltimore City Fire Department spokesman Kevin Cartwright.

SkyTeam 11 reported from over the scene that there were no reports of injuries.

Firefighters worked to contain the fire and keep it from spreading to other units in the row.

Officials are investigating a cause of the fire.
