Three N.Y. Firefighters Injured Battling Blaze

Three firefighters were injured while battling a blaze in Cairo Wednesday afternoon.
Three firefighters were injured while battling a blaze in Cairo Wednesday afternoon, according to The Daily Mail.

Crews responded to the fire at the 105-year-old home and office at 530 Main Street around noon.

No one inside the structure at the time of the blaze, which officials determined was electrical in nature. Firefighters rescued a dog, that was uninjured.

The fire began in the second floor stairwell and migrated to the attic before it extended through the roof.

The three firefighters sustained minor injuries and were treated on the scene.
