Civilian Critical After Kansas Fire Truck Crash

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. -- A man was in critical condition after a vehicle was involved in a wreck with an Overland Park fire truck on the eastbound Interstate 435 exit ramp to Antioch Road Friday morning. The man, in his 50s, was unconscious with a head injury, fire officials said. The person in the original wreck that the fire truck was responding to suffered minor injuries. The exit ramp from I-435 east to Antioch was shut down.
