A firefighter was injured when a master stream knocked a ladder on top of him as he battled a house fire in Minneapolis Thursday afternoon.
A firefighter was injured when a master stream knocked a ladder on top of him as he battled a house fire in Minneapolis Thursday afternoon, according to KMSP-TV

Crews responded to the fire in the Whittier neighborhood at 25th Street and 1st Avenue at approximately 1 p.m.

Two people were inside the home but were able to escape.

Officials told the news station that the fire started in the basement and worked its way up to the attic.

The roof of the house collapsed and everything inside is believed destroyed.

The cause is under investigation and is believed to be electrical.
