Crews responded to a report for a garage fire at approximately 8 p.m. in minus 10-degree temperatures.

The blaze quickly spread to the home and two firefighters found themselves trapped in the basement.

They were rescued and were transported to a local hospital by ambulance with only minor injuries.

The fire was brought under control within two hours.
