Maryland Firefighter Injured in Two-Alarm Blaze

WHITEFORD, Md. -- Fire crews in Harford County are investigating a two-alarm blaze near the Pennsylvania border. Sky Team 11 flew over the scene in the 1600 block of Deep Run Road in Whiteford at about 2 p.m. Thursday. About 60 firefighters were able to bring the fire under control just a few minutes later. Authorities said one firefighter suffered minor burns to his neck and was taken to Bayview Medical Center in Baltimore for treatment. He's expected to be OK.

Fire crews in Harford County are investigating a two-alarm blaze near the Pennsylvania border.

Sky Team 11 flew over the scene in the 1600 block of Deep Run Road in Whiteford at about 2 p.m. Thursday.

About 60 firefighters were able to bring the fire under control just a few minutes later.

Authorities said one firefighter suffered minor burns to his neck and was taken to Bayview Medical Center in Baltimore for treatment. He's expected to be OK.

No other injuries were reported.
