DETROIT --
A Detroit firefighter had to tackle a runaway hose Monday night while battling a vehicle fire.
A Ford Explorer parked at the Lafayette Lofts at Lafayette Avenue and Eighth Streets caught fire at about 11 p.m..
As crews worked to extinguish the blaze, Local 4 cameras captured one firefighter wrangling a squirming hose that got out of control.
The firefighter was soaked, but no injuries were reported.
Fire investigators said they are still searching for the source of the SUV fire.
