Man Shot in Face Walks Into Florida Fire Station

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A man walked into a Northside fire station with at least one gunshot wound Monday afternoon, according to the Jacksonville Fire Rescue Department. The man was taken to Shands Jacksonville Medical Center in serious condition with a gunshot wound to the face. The shooting took place at the nearby Kendall Court Apartments on Lem Turner Road about 4 p.m., according to JFRD. The details of the shooting were unclear. Police were at the apartments investigating.
