Wis. FFs Rescue 200 From Fair Ride
WEST ALLIS, Wis. -- A ride at the Wisconsin State Fair is up and running again after a motor malfunction on Thursday night forced it to stall, stranding dozens of people hanging above the fair. When the Skyglider stopped working, the operator couldn't get it restarted. Firefighters used ladders and a cherry picker bucket lift to get passengers off the ride safely. It took rescue crews two and half hours to get 200 riders off.
