A German Township volunteer firefighter died yesterday afternoon after suffering a heart attack, according to WISH-TV.
Lt. Richard Drake, 39, served with the department for more than three years.
Drake also worked full time as a corrections corporal with the Bartholomew County Sheriff's Office.
He is survived by his wife and four children.
Funeral arrangements are pending.
