Ohio Lieutenant Dies on Duty

DAYTON, Ohio -- A Dayton Fire Department lieutenant died while on duty early Saturday. Lt. Kevin Quinn, 52, was on duty at the Montgomery County Regional Dispatch Center when he died, according to Dayton Firefighters Local 136.Quinn was stationed at Enginge Company 17 before being assigned to regional dispatch. "Our thoughts and prayers go out to Lt. Quinn's wife and children," the union said in a release.

Lt. Kevin Quinn, 52, was on duty at the Montgomery County Regional Dispatch Center when he died, according to Dayton Firefighters Local 136.

Quinn was stationed at Enginge Company 17 before being assigned to regional dispatch.

"Our thoughts and prayers go out to Lt. Quinn's wife and children," the union said in a release.

The 25-year veteran  had recently transferred to the dispatch center to aid in the transition from city to regional dispatch, according to the Dayton Daily News.

He was found dead in his bunk.

Funeral arrangements have not been made.
