Pennsylvania Firefighters Sent to Wrong Address

A Lancaster man tried to put a fire out in his home on East Marion Street but couldn't.

Firefighters said the homeowner used a fire extinguisher on the growing fire Wednesday evening. When it got out of control, firefighers were called, but sent to the wrong block of East Marion Street.

Firefighters showed up on the 100 block and found nothing. They spotted smoke coming from the 600 block and went there to put out the fire.

The home sustained significant damage and is not liveable.
