Pa. Firefighter Hurt Battling Fire in Vacant Home

A vacant home caught fire in the Perry South section of Pittsburghs North Side late Monday night.

The fire started around 11 p.m. at a home in the 2400 block of Wilson Avenue.

Authorities told Channel 4 Action News that no one was hurt in the fire, but a firefighter was taken to the hospital from the scene after re-aggravating an old elbow injury.

Fire crews were able to get the fire under control by 11:30 p.m.

So far, there's no word on what may have caused the fire.
