Pa. Photographer Rescued by FFs

PITTSBURGH -- A photographer who was shooting practice video for a University of Pittsburgh sports team spent more time looking at the field than he bargained for. The man was stuck four stories in the air on a cherry-picker for several hours on Thursday at the school's South Side facility. The cherry-picker the photographer was on wouldn't move and the company handling the machine couldn't come out to assist him.

A photographer who was shooting practice video for a University of Pittsburgh sports team spent more time looking at the field than he bargained for.

The man was stuck four stories in the air on a cherry-picker for several hours on Thursday at the school's South Side facility.

The cherry-picker the photographer was on wouldn't move and the company handling the machine couldn't come out to assist him.

The Fire Department was called and a firefighter climbed a ladder to bring the man and his gear down.

The photographer was not injured in the incident.
