The fire at Gabbys Quick 6 in the City of Washington started in the basement of the building along the 600 block of West Chestnut Street before spreading to the roof, firefighters said.

The bartender and one of the patrons went to the basement with a fire extinguisher and saw the electrical panel fire with fire going up the walls into the first floor, Chief Lynn Brookman told Channel 4 Action News.
