Minn. FF Hit by Vehicle at Scene

  A Minnesota firefighter was injured after being struck at an incident scene along an interstate highway Tuesday morning.   Cory S. Broich, 28, of the Clearwater Fire Dept., suffered two fractured legs after being struck at the scene of a vehicle fire, according to sctimes.com

He was flown to St. Cloud Hospital where he was in critical condition.
 His sister-in-law told the newspaper that he is now awake and talking with his wife.
Clearwater Fire Chief Doug Nieters said Broich, of Clearwater, has been a firefighter for five years. Nieters said the fire crew was finishing up with the vehicle fire call when the crash occurred, according to the news report.
The vehicle that struck Broich also hit one of two fire trucks on the scene.
