Ohio FF Pulls Man from Burning SUV

A Huron firefighter pulled a man from a burning SUV after it was struck by a train last night (Jan. 20), according to The Sandusky Register. Firefighter Kurt Schafer pulled the 24-year-old driver to safety while the vehicle was engulfed in flames. The incident occurred along the south side of the railroad tracks at the River Road crossing just south of Cleveland Road. The injured man was transported to Firelands Regional Medical Center with serious injuries.
