    N.H. Fire Vehicle Involved in Crash

    LACONIA, N.H. -- A Laconia Fire Department cruiser was involved in a crash Thursday afternoon. Officials said the fire vehicle was responding to an accident at 2:36 p.m. when it was struck by another vehicle turning left onto New Salem Street. The firefighter in the vehicle was taken to Lakes Region General Hospital with minor injuries. The crash remains under investigation, but police said speed and alcohol were not factors.
