GERMAN TOWNSHIP, Pa. --
Two fires ignited close to each other in Fayette County overnight.
German Township firefighters were called to a vacant house fire on Shimko Hollow Road just before 1:30 a.m.
Not too long after that, more fire crews were sent to fire at a former personal care home on Sunshine Hollow Road less than 6 miles away. No one was inside.
At about the same time as the second fire, a fire truck crashed into a vehicle on Route 21. The driver of the vehicle suffered minor injuries.
