N.C. FF Injured by Fall Through Floor

BURLINGTON, N.C. -- A Burlington firefighter was hurt Sunday while battling a blaze on Tillman Street.. Crews were called to a home in the northern part of the city around 8 p.m. The firefighter was injured when he fell through a hole in the floor into a crawl space. The firefighter was taken to Alamance Regional Medical Center, where he was treated and released a short time later. The injured firefighter has not been identified.

Crews were called to a home in the northern part of the city around 8 p.m.

The firefighter was injured when he fell through a hole in the floor into a crawl space.

The firefighter was taken to Alamance Regional Medical Center, where he was treated and released a short time later.

The injured firefighter has not been identified.

No one was inside the burned home at the time of the fire.

Damage to the home and contents inside is estimated at about $14,000.
