Kentucky Crews Save Man From Blaze

LOUISVILLE, Ky. --  Louisville firefighters are being credited with saving a man's life. A fire broke out at a home on Bernheim Lane at about 10:30 a.m. Sunday. Two people had gotten out of the home and told arriving firefighters that another person was in the basement. "Fire crews made an aggressive attack, went down and did a search, found the person and brought them out, revived him and EMS took him to a local hospital," fire department Lt. Col. Jeff Botner said.

Louisville firefighters are being credited with saving a man's life.

A fire broke out at a home on Bernheim Lane at about 10:30 a.m. Sunday.

Two people had gotten out of the home and told arriving firefighters that another person was in the basement.

"Fire crews made an aggressive attack, went down and did a search, found the person and brought them out, revived him and EMS took him to a local hospital," fire department Lt. Col. Jeff Botner said.

Botner said the fire started in the basement, but as of now, they don't know the cause.
