Last Friday, members of the department's technical rescue team rescued a dog from an abandoned well by using a series of ropes and pulleys.

Firefighter Travis Lambert was lowered into the well and was able to put the 140-pound dog -- Kujo -- into a safety harness. The dog and the firefighter were then lifted out of the confined space.

Lambert, Kujo and owner Daniel Ellis appear on the show and greeted visitors in the courtyard following the segment.
