SAN ANTONIO --

Firefighters battled a large brush fire Thursday afternoon at Camp Bullis.

Nearly 200 acres of brush was scorched in the blaze, which began at around 11 a.m.

Military and municipal fire departments teamed up to battle the blaze.

A trio of Texas National Guard helicopters dropped large buckets of water on the blaze. The Texas Department of Public Safety sent a fixed-wing aircraft to aid in the fiery battle.

No injuries were reported.

The fire was among several reported across the county.

A grass fire in south Bexar County destroyed a long row of cars at a junk yard near Ballard and Schultz roads and a blaze near the access road of Interstate 35 and Cassin Lane scorched about 10 acres of brush.
