Apartments Damaged in 4-Alarm Maryland Fire

Two people and a firefighter were hurt in an early-morning, four-alarm fire in Parkville.

The fire occurred at about 1:10 a.m. Thursday at an apartment complex on Spindrift Circle.

About 150 firefighters were called to battle the blaze.

The fire wasn't brought under control until about 5:50 a.m.

Red Cross officials responded to help families displaced by the fire.

The injured people were taken to local hospitals for treatment. The firefighter was hurt when he fell on ice, authorities said.

The fire is under investigation.
