INDIANAPOLIS --

Three firefighters were injured as they battled a blaze at a flower shop on Indianapolis' west side Sunday morning.

The blaze began at about 10:45 a.m. at Watson's Garden Gate Florist Inc., in the 6400 block of Rockville Road.

Fire departments from Wayne Township, Avon and Speedway fought the fire, which gutted the business.

Three firefighters were taken to Clarian West with minor injuries. All were in good condition Sunday evening.

"It appears the fire probably started in the rear of the building, but we aren't sure at this time and our arson team is setting up an investigation as we speak," said Wayne Township fire Capt. Troy Wymer.

Investigators said the building was completely destroyed.
